At Trinity we believe that God has created us to live life together in gospel-centered communities of grace, love, nurture, and joy. The purpose of small groups is to have a place where we purposefully fellowship in our common life and admit that we need others. It is our vision that through small groups we will worship God more fully, bear one another’s burdens, encourage one another, weep with those who weep, rejoice with those who rejoice, pray for one another, and spur one another on to missional living.
Small Group sign-ups take place in the Fall, but all groups are open to new people at any time. Each group looks a little different, but the basic focus of each is community, study, and prayer.
Here’s a list of our current small groups:
- Tharp/Moen Small Group (Kirkwood) — Meets the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 4:30pm at Trinity.
- Poe/Smith Small Group (Kirkwood) — Meets the 1st and 3rd Monday at 6:30pm at Trinity.

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace. – 1 Peter. 4:8-10
